There have been some legendary haircuts in our time. Keri Russell. Samson. Steve Testa. Allan Rourke. Today, Steve Regier and Petteri Nokelainen were to join the list. We’ll have to see what they look like tomorrow.
Tomorrow, they may well be joined on the ice by several people who weren’t on the ice in Providence. Jeremy Colliton is cleared to go. Frans Nielsen, Rourke and Drew Fata were back from the Island for this morning’s practice. The lines were all jumbled back up again, none the way they were at the end of Sunday’s game, and the way the past couple of days have gone, we’ll see what they look like at 7:30 tomorrow*.
A little chat with Fata will go in the Thursday notebook, but had to share this one early: “They told me three things: Have fun; work hard; and whenever Ovie (Alexander Ovechkin) is on the ice, get the hell off.”
If you’re looking for an edge in a certain blog contest, here’s a tip that’s not too surprising, I don’t think: Don’t pick Bridgeport.
Oh, and even though I had to hack my own blog to do it, I managed to change the links and tweak some formatting (though I couldn’t figure out how to get a space between paragraphs). If you see any problems or have any suggestions, please let me know.
