Both Nolan & Hamilton will have banner years with their organizations. The Islanders & Sound Tigers missed again. Neither guy EVER had a chance to play up top. Nolan was playing with grit in Bridgeport. Hamilton’s a natural goal scorer over the past several years. At least he shot the puck on the Power Play and didn’t play the puck for 1:55 worrying about taking the perfect shot. By the way, how did he ever play a few seasons for Hartford (Rangers org.) while his rights were retained by the Islanders? Only the Islanders could come up with a deal like that! Seems Ray Giroux & Hamilton (2 very talented players) NEVER had a chance with the Islanders. They have the same agant (Bill Zito). Is it an agent-thing Charles Wang? Another great talent (Robert Nilsson), promising rookie (O’Marra) & another draft pick were “wasted” on the Ryan Smith trade. Smith bolted the Island as soon as he could. Another “SMART” deal, Garth!
