The ref was more interested in the BC game than the game he was reffing.
The AHL needs and should have a two ref system. Jeff had his fat head up his rear. The Tigers had the short end of the stick tonight. I wouldn’t be surprised if the suits didn’t want the tigers making the playoffs.. It’s a damn shame..
Is anyone as disturbed as me at what Bridgeport fans saw tonight. The ref was absolutely awful. The second goal took place after Keith was cross checked to the ice twice , penguins skate down and score. On the the 3rd goal ,Morrison was interfered with,no call. The 4th goal after the hit on sertich when he was plainly injured and the play was not blown dead.
Numerous penalties and liberties being taken by the penguins with no calls.Yet the second a Bport guy touched someone there was a call. This is one of the worst games i have seen in 30 years of hockey.
Also the Phantom offsides and icing calls tonight were just ridiculous.
Bridgeport should send a copy of the game to the AHL offices it was ridiculous.
Was anybody at the game tonight? If so, what did you think of the play where Sertich got hurt and the ref allowed for the play to go on? I was busy looking at Sertich lying on the ice – not moving and didn’t see the play go into the Tigers end and result in a goal. I can only assume that the Tigers never gained possession and thus the whistle never blew. However, if it appears a player is seriously injured – don’t they stop the play regardles of who has the puck? I don’t know if the outcome would have been any different, but losing a player and having a goal scored against them (and being down by 2) really seem to let any wind that was left out of the Tigers sail. Hopefully Andy is OK. Any update on him? With the Hershey win, tomorrow against Hartford is even more important. Hopefully we get Jackman, Regier and Spiller back…
