Break time’s over

The boys are back in town and stuff. Lots of reunions: Smith-McLean-Iggulden back together, Joensuu-Walter-Colliton (he’s ready to go). Mannino is up, but Len DiCostanzo wasn’t here, either. It’s not inconceivable that Mannino could be back here for Hartford and gone again for Portland; that kind of thing happened before the break. But we’ll see.

James Sixsmith was sent back to Utah after practice.

The walking wounded were all walking around (shocker). Haley and Lessard, if things continue to heal well, could begin working toward comebacks next week. Pitton, less detail is forthcoming, both in injury (“upper body”) and timetable.

Press release says Greg Moore has been named the fourth captain of the Wolf Pack. Parenteau and Potter get/keep the A’s.

After the Mathieu Roy goal last week, Bill Ballou runs down some other once-in-a-blue-moon stuff that he’s seen. Some good ones in there. I wonder if, had Bill been there, this one would have made the list.

And Debbie and Ray were getting autographs on heart-shaped picture frames. The frames will be on sale at the Booster Club table Saturday, $5, for the American Heart Association.
