Pretty harsh assessment by Season Ticket Holder! We’re all entitled to our own opinions but I’m sorry I do not agree with your assessment. Nikoforov is a rookie, give him time. He has great speed which we need and he is small so I can understand to a point why he may be afraid to take a hit. And not going into corners? Well I’ve seen him do it just not as frequently as some of our “bigger” guys.
Season ticket holder??? Sounds more like a disgruntled employee.
It’s so confusing and I still don’t understand the recent moves. This team is getting no better. When is Garth Snow going to get rid of the dead weight and bring in young fresh legs. Capuano loves some of these young kids but is being forced to play unskilled big thugs who bring nothing but a fight to the game. So who’s really making the decisons for this team? Maybe it’s Nikoforov’s father….we all know he has voiced his opinion, this his son is still here, and he absolutely stinks. He brings nothing but skating (maybe his father should have taught him the entire game). He has no game sense, wont go into cormers and it afraid to take a hit i would love to see him matched up against someone like Fritz he would never come back! Daddy can buy you something but he can’t buy heart and dedication. You have some healthy scratches (who I agree are not much better) but the have all that he doesn’t have. He should have been the first to go. Maybe Garth should take a page out of the Capitals playbook, there’s an organization who took a chance and are reaping the benefits. We just run down our top players and put the whole world on their shoulders. Capuano talks about secondary scoring but he doesnt give them a chance Skate the best till they drop, then you have nothing left They need to develop the younger players and involve them in the entire picture. It still amazes me how political pro hockey is. It’s not who is the most talented, it’s all about who you know. There is too much dead weight, let’s lighten the load!
