I’d be very surprised, but I suppose crazier things have happened.
Mike, now that the Isles have drafted the enigmatic Kirill Kabanov, is there any chance he could be in Bridgeport as early as next year? He’s obviously not really welcome in Moncton, Russia, and might be too skinny for the NHL next year (when he walked up to the podium he looked like a skeleton in his jersey). Is the rule that he has to get permission from his CHL team to be eligible to play in the AHL, because there is probably a very good chance Moncton grants him that?
