Redden is going ot be buried in the minore for the next 4 years. I don`t think the Rags would risk putting him on recall waivers so a team can get a mediocre D-man for 3 millionish per year and also putting the screws to the Rags at the same time.
Isles should stay very far from Redden. Realistically its to bad there is no salary cap in the AHL.

I would love to see Mcammond or Kolanos or both in Bport along with Hilbert, Sim and Hisey. This would help Bport a ton on offense especially since this team has all the looks at being offensively anemic again.

I never had a problem with Redden. And I’m not judging by his looks, thank you. To each his own.

Redden won’t be picked up even on re entry waivers simply because his contract is just as awful as his play. He also has 4 years left on that deal.

  4. Doug says:

Hey Mike, do the Isles pay anything (besides expenses) directly to the players for these PTOs?

  5. hank says:

Miriam – are you kidding?? Redden is god awful!!!! please don’t judge by his looks….

  6. Miriam says:

What about picking up Redden off waivers…?

  7. Perhaps, but nothing set in stone here. They’re just on PTOs.

  8. Jeff says:

Do any of these tryouts, like Kolanos, mean anything for BST?

    Thanks

Trevor Smith was sent to Syracuse today

Kolanos could be a nice addition to Bridgeport, as I can’t imagine him making the big club. However, he does have 30+ goals in two of the last three seasons in the AHL.

Looks like Martin will be there only a few days, as Legace will be delayed a couple of days. Martin may only be in camp until Wednesday.
