I just can’t come up with the right name for question 10. Pretty sure that the guy who was assigned here by another NHL team and later signed a PTO was Mike Souza (came to us originally from Chicago). Thought maybe the other name was Labelle, but I’m pretty sure he was on an AHL/ECHL two way the first time he was here. I then got the idea of Scott Stirling who played just a single game in his second season and made me wonder if his Dad got him on a NHL deal the first year and then maybe a PTO the second year, doubt it.
Also interesting to note, the one shot on goal in the first period was a Dylan Reese goal. I guess the Hershey goalie was so shocked to get a shot that he couldn’t stop it.
Since you haven’t finished this yet, I’ll fill in a couple that I was originally missing. One I was pretty sure about and the other I just saw by accident in a box score.
1. 1-4-2-7 is the shots on goal in the final game of the 2010 playoffs
4. Jeff Smith
I’m still not sure about 10, but I might figure it out.
Some of the questions that cover all 10 seasons are a bit harsh (refs?). I guess someone with the week off and a good internet connection could figure them out. That would include me, but I’m way too lazy.
1.
2. 9
3. True (with 6 so far)
4.
5. DiPietro
6. Manchester
6a. Biron
7. Reese (nice question)
8. Kohn
9. 28
10.
11. Hamilton (just a guess since he did most of the scoring that season)
12a. Boguniecki
12b. Sim
12c. Tambellini
13. Syracuse and Lowell/Albany Devils
14. Joensuu (I think Mauldin is 2nd unless Rhett goes big against the Sharks)
15a. Bouchard
15b. Giroux
15c. Perreault
15d. Nygel Pelletier
15e. Martin?
15f. Joudrey
Not sure why #1 has no meaning to me. I feel like I’m going to figure out #10 eventually, but #4 is pretty tough unless you’ve got a lot of time to search box scores.
