    Kevin Oklobzija and Chris Roy will be the ones to follow on that, but the short version: Buffalo is talking about buying the Amerks, which would be all well and good except, as you say, they have a locked-in affiliation with the Pirates for the next three years, so Portland would have to be satisfied.

    Mike,

    Have you heard anything about the Buffalo/Portland relationship which I thought was resolved last year. I was listening to NHL Radio yesterday and they commenting something about a Buffalo/Rochester relationship and of course this is the time I get stuck under the highway so I lost the signal for a while so I didn’t hear the scoop when Dave Andrews was on. Thanks.
