    I thought it was already banned at that age. As compromise, there should be manatory clinics/programs to teach how to check, receive a check and keeping your head up. Some rec leagues call 10-min penalties from checking/hitting a player from the sides and from the rear. Most of the “checks” I’ve seen in non-pro leagues were broderline boarding which seems to be what’s taught as opposed to an open ice hit. Concussions are will be deceasing when to ban applies. Toughness can be developed later, but talent and skill can not. Good move.
