USA Hockey’s National Team Orientation Camp will include locals Jonathan Quick and Max Pacioretty (and local-by-birth-and-youth-hockey Kevin Shattenkirk) along with Kyle Okposo. Travis Hamonic was among those invited to orientation camp for the Canadian Olympic team.
Further internationally, Ben Rosen is part of the United States team in Israel for the Maccabiah Games. Former Islanders broadcaster Billy Jaffe is the team’s coach.
South Windsor’s Jon DiSalvatore flees these shores for Munich. Thought he’d be a guy who’d fit well here, but obviously myriad factors at play.
