Same lineup for now: Providence pregame

So one more day with this lineup (a swap in goal at the end of the three-in-three, and looks like Dallas Jackson gets back in) before the NHL’s trade freeze ends tonight at midnight. The organization’s next game after this one is the one Thursday night on the Island. You figure at least two-thirds of the top line is there by then. And then they’ll go from there. An interesting week and a half to come.

But in the meantime, Bridgeport’s won 10 out of 12 and begins a home-and-home with the Broons. Malcolm Subban for the visitors, fresh off his brother’s gold medal this morning. Both have one to scratch.

First Bridgeport game for referee Fred Leblanc.

Scott Campbell back in the house again. With the home-and-home, and with Utica in next weekend, and with Bridgeport off to the Rock the weekend afterward, that’s five out of the next six games potentially against guys who made up that Brandon DeFazio-Scott Campbell-Blair Riley line that was such a mainstay for the Sound Tigers last year.
