Never heard of Freedomland. Living in the Bronx for 25 years and not hear anything about it, is a blow to my Bronx pride! Well, I did get to visit Jungle Habitat as a second grader. Worst school trip ever! My class traveled in one of those old yellow school buses that did not have a fan (never mind an air conditioner!) It wasn’t summer yet, but it was hot as hell, we couldn’t open the windows and the animals just lied around the shady parts of the park. The WORST!!
