Arthur Staple reports that Taylor Beck has been traded for the third time in a year, going to Colorado for Marc-Andre Cliche.
Cliche is probably best remembered around here, depending on your NHL fandom, either as the Manchester Monarchs’ longtime captain or as the guy the Rangers traded for Sean Avery. He played the last two seasons with the Avalanche and was 6-13-19 in 38 games for San Antonio this year.
That appears to be it for the Islanders.
