In a fairer world, he’d still be playing. Jeremy Colliton is only 32. There are five guys left playing in the AHL playoffs who are older.
Fate intervened. He instead led Mora into the SHL, and now he’s come back: Chicago named Colliton head coach in Rockford this morning.
Colliton’s place in Bridgeport history is well-secure: first in points, first in assists, second in goals to Jeff Hamilton, second in games to Mark Wotton. Now he’ll start his North American coaching career. Can’t wait to see it.
