Strome for Eberle

The first domino fell for the Big Club, but it turned out one-for-one: Ryan Strome for Jordan Eberle. A fresh start for Strome, who from what we figured in 2014 was the first AHLer to lead his team in scoring (49 points in 37 games) despite playing fewer than half of its games. Eberle, who was apparently distantly related to onetime Sound Tiger Tanner Eberle (and wasn’t bad in Bridgeport himself) gives the Islanders a guy who has scored at least 20 in the past five non-lockout NHL seasons.
