Two of them are missing tonight, but the Andre Benoit arrival gives Bridgeport a rare full complement of veterans. Ryan Bourque, Steve Bernier, Ben Holmstrom and Stephen Gionta up front; Benoit on defense, and Seth Helgeson counts as the one-man exemption for a player who hasn’t played more than 320 pro games as of the start of the season.
Far cry from when they couldn’t even get two at a time a couple of years ago.
Scott Eansor appears to return tonight for Bernier, with a top-six shuffle. Kyle Schempp appears to be back in for Matt Gaudreau. Didn’t see another ‘A’ on a Sound Tiger with Bernier out. Edit: At least on the lineup card, Burroughs is designated the other alternate.
Think this was Lehigh Valley. Saw something different in some spots once through but seemed right on second look.
