Tomorrow is promised to no one: Charlotte pregame

As promised, Kellen Jones and Matt Gaudreau return from Worcester. That was the only promise, though, and only Jones gets back in the lineup today. The lines are rearranged once again, some in familiar fashion, some less so. Ins/outs-wise, it’s just Kellen Jones for Josh Holmstrom and Andre Benoit for Mike Cornell, though Benoit pairs again with Kane Lafranchise and Pat Cullity moves alongside Seth Helgeson.

After a solid game and a half from Eamon McAdam, Kristers Gudlevskis gets back in net. Jeremy Smith gets the third game of the weekend for Charlotte, his first game since Feb. 3.

By gametime, it’ll be 24 hours until the NHL trade deadline. Rick Nash (Matt Beleskey goes to Hartford), Tomas Plekanec and Mark Letestu (three-way!) are off the table.

Two different linesmen tonight.

And Brock Nelson in the house. Brent Thompson tried to talk him into suiting up.
