Maintenance: Tuesday notes

Roughly the same group today for Bridgeport, with a couple of tweaks. And then Chris Bourque went off early. “Maintenance,” said Brent Thompson, though he wasn’t precise on what happened there. Ben Holmstrom slid up into that spot with Mike Sislo and Travis St. Denis. (So, yeah, swap the centermen back again.) Sebastian Aho was with Chris Casto today, too.

A few days before they play again, anyway, so we’ll see how they line up then.

Some in-depth work on defensive-zone coverage.

Jacques Lemaire in the house. Thompson was talking to him after practice in the room, keeping the media waiting. For a guy like Lemaire, we don’t mind much.

No immediate update forthcoming on John Stevens and Matt Lorito, who, Thompson noted, are not on his roster. They’re around, though.

Legendary Islanders rookie camper Connor Graham signed with Worcester. He’d been with Kansas City in camp.

Neat fact on Robin Lehner from Eric Hornick inspired me to double-check Bridgeport. There was the obvious, but only one other.

And the high school hockey schedules are out.
