Blue Destiny: Tuesday notes

Team was split in half this morning for a mini-tournament of small-area games. (Blue won, if you had a wager.) So there were no true lines nor pairs rolling out there. Missing, though: Scott Eansor, as he had been the past couple of games, and Michael Dal Colle, who left Sunday’s game after the first period, both with lower-body injuries. Brent Thompson called them both day-to-day, hopeful Eansor will be available for the weekend. Dal Colle is to be reevaluated, he said.

They’ve got a few days to go this week, with no games until visiting Hartford on Saturday.

The Wolf Pack plays Lehigh Valley tomorrow in Hartford.

Elsewhere, there is little better in the world than Finnish people saying Finnish names.

Trent Vogelhuber retired and will be an assistant coach in Cleveland; one of his players weighs in.

And good wishes to retired Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and her family.
