One of those hard-skating, get-back-to-work practices this morning at Wonderland. It had pucks; it wasn’t even as long as it might have been. But it was at a very high tempo. Brent Thompson said he saw what he was looking for, the effort that he thought was lacking Sunday.
Michael Dal Colle was a full participant, and quite a day to return to after a week. He said he felt good and will see how things feel as the week goes on. Two more days of practice before a three-in-three.
Scott Eansor sat out again; Thompson said Eansor skated earlier. And Tanner Fritz wasn’t out there; maintenance, the coach said.
Lines and pairs were reshuffled a bit. Two sets of four forwards, two of three. Maybe notable was a Dal Colle-Jones-Ho-Sang (-Koivula) reunion. See how they look as the week goes on.
At Wonderland today because the Arena is still recovering from Monster Jam. As always, there’s only so much they can do.
Elsewhere, Boston called up Colby Cave on Monday. He has always tended to stand out against Bridgeport.
