Marked tardy: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton pregame

Not as crazy a crowd as they usually get for these morning games, but it’ll be quieter at least. (Or perhaps it’s late-arriving, since, as I look up now just before posting, a couple of sections have filled in a bit. But still.) The Sound Tigers, obviously, could use a not-so-quiet game for themselves after Monday. They get Jeff Kubiak back after he missed 11 games.

The lines and pairs are rearranged. Looks like Chris Casto’s back in for Yannick Rathgeb. Gaudreau out for Kubiak. Christopher Gibson in net; his save percentage rounds to .900 at least for the first time since opening night.

Jesse Marquis is an NHL guy; believe it’s the first time he’s had the Sound Tigers, and he’s scheduled to be back Saturday.
