Doubleheaders: Tuesday notes

Day got a bit newsy while I was taking attendance.

–Ehh, attendance first: Steve Bernier (Brent Thompson said upper) and Otto Koivula (also upper) were out today. Day-to-day, says Thompson. Koivula was in the house. Everybody else was here. Worcester, as mentioned the other day, starts up for real on the weekend, so we’ll see if anyone else here heads out. But they’re already banged up up front, so.

–The Sound Tigers and Connecticut Whale are teaming up for an NWHL-AHL doubleheader on Feb. 22. (Hey, another Feb. 22 thing.) A nice idea that makes a lot of sense. Should be fun.

–Paul Thompson got two games for Saturday night’s hit on Thomas Hickey.

–There’s a Josh Ho-Sang note in Elliotte Friedman’s weekly 31 Thoughts piece.
