  • Game notes: Bridgeport got on the bus last night after that lackluster 4-1 loss to Hershey. “The way we practiced (Thursday), the mindset, I was disappointed with … the lack of intensity. That’s one of the biggest things,” Brent Thompson said afterward. “Battles, one; two, execution. I’m disappointed in that, obviously, execution on breakouts, coming through the neutral zone. All those things add up to a win, or you’re in the game.” They were until a Parker Wotherspoon turnover turned into a goal with 38 seconds left in the second period, making it 3-1. You know those old Sound Tigers teams, like in 2003-04 or even 2008-09, where if they got a lead you knew they were winning? That game felt over. But hey, on to the next. Thompson said Ryan Bourque and Bode Wilde were both day-to-day, so maybe they’ll be available. Last night got Bridgeport over 300 man-games lost to injury alone: 305.
  • Meh, what else is going on: I miss going to Wilkes-Barre. Oh, wait, that’s not…
  • RIP, Mary Higgins Clark.
  • If this were a regular blog post, what word or phrase would most likely follow “More” at this point: Wednesdayish. And like last night, if you wouldn’t mind, if you’re reading this, please drop me a comment? Like to know this isn’t just floating out to no one.
