HOME game: Providence at Bridgeport

  • Who, when, whatever: Bruins at Sound Tigers, Arena at Harbor Yard, Bridgeport, 7 p.m.
  • Watch: AHLTV pay-per-view
  • Listen: Mixlr audio
  • Twitters: Alan / the Sound Tigers / Mark Divver
  • Box score: OK (R: Gouin, Hennessey; L: O’Quinn, Hejna)
  • Game notes: Kieffer Bellows, man. Two goals the last game. An assist the game before. Fine work. A shame I missed those games, like I will tonight’s, but if (those games were with the Islanders, not Bridgeport) ohhhhh. Seriously, fine work by Bellows up top. Meanwhile down here, eight Sound Tigers were out injured Wednesday morning, one more than we’d thought at first. Even Dylan Sadowy, the guy they got to complete the John Stevens deal and sent to Worcester, is hurt. The number grows. Wrote off Wednesday’s game on Cole Bardreau, trying to keep himself from getting on that list again and maybe getting in a groove finally.
  • Meh, what else is going on: Vegas has its AHL franchise, which it plans to move to a new arena in the area: San Antonio. Enjoyed this story from Alaska about a co-op team from far-flung towns. Always enjoy Bad Lip Reading on the NFL.
  • RIP, Kirk Douglas, Roger Kahn and Angel Echevarria.
  • If this were a regular blog post, what word or phrase would most likely follow “More” at this point: Tomorrow.
