Queen of the Cropped
Back when men’s cropped pants were referred to as “high waters” and “floods”, Audrey Hepburn was turning a similar look into a trend that would remain timeless. Her graceful, effortless style made ankle and calf length bottoms become a staple in many women’s wardrobes.
Till this day, cropped pants have ebed and flowed, but have always remained in the mix of women’s fashions. Whether ankle skimming or clam digging, it seems the shorter versions of the trouser, jean and legging are at the height of their popularity.
Holly would be so very happy.
