As a design and merchandising major at Drexel University, I studied the aspects of style, color an
trends, and how they are incorporated into our lives in so many ways. I took my passion for design and focused my career on the fashion industry.
After beginning with companies such as Perry Ellis, Barney’s New York and Emmanuel Ungaro, I settled in for a lengthy and exciting stay at Giorgio Armani. There, I cultivated a true understanding of style, fit and proportion which is so imperative to our clothing as well as our interior selections. Hands on experience in Italy watching model fittings for new collections as well as in America traveling to retail stores seeing customers in the actual garments only enhanced this understanding. The best part of working at Armani wasn’t wearing the amazing clothes, (but that was a close 2nd!) it was seeing the customers outfitted beautifully, appropriately and confidently.
After starting a family, I decided to reinvent myself and teach what I had learned over the years to students at a nearby College as well as to local clients with my new style consulting endeavor…Style Design, Inc.
