Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton is proclaiming Nov. 14 to 21, 2010 as
National Storytelling Week, according to an announcement from his office.
This is in conjunction with Tellabration 2010, which will be hosted for the fifth consecutive year at Danbury Library Saturday, Nov. 20. Two performances, one at 10:30 a.m. for elementary school children and one at 1 p.m. for adults, will take place in the Farioly Program Room at the library, 170 Main St.
Guest professional storyteller Carolyn Martino, of Providence, R.I., will be featured. She will be joined by storytellers from the Greater Danbury area, including members of the local storytelling organization, SPIN.
