Officials with the Danbury Police Department have confirmed that a Hispanic male in his late 40’s was found dead under a railroad overpass behind Rose Street in the city’s downtown on Feb. 27.
Lt. Chris Carroccio said that while the cause of death has yet to be determined by the chief medical examiner’s office, it appeared that the man succumbed to the elements.
“It appears to be weather related,” he said, adding that authorities have yet to identify the man.
Carroccio said there didn’t appear to be any criminal activity connected to the death.
