Ridegefield Charter Revision Commission holds hearing

The Ridgefield Charter Revision Commission will hold its final public hearing before it completes its work on proposing changes to the Town Charter.
The hearing will be held 7 p.m. Monday, June 2, at  Town Hall, 400 Main Street.
The commission has been meeting throughout the year  and has begun to compile a final report on any suggested changes. By state statute, town’s must update their charters every four years.
But Commission chairman Paul Jasinski said Monday’s hearing will give town residents another chance to suggest other revisions to the charter
“We want to hear people’s ideas,’’ Jasinki said. “We’re wide-open.’’
