Motorcycle crash in Brookfield that killed driver being investigated

UPDATE: JUNE 15: 11 a.m. Brookfield Police have released the name of the motorcycle driver who died Sunday in a crash as William F. Clark, Jr., 55, of Tavernier, Fla.

Clark was traveling southbound on Route 25 when his bike went off the road and struck a utility pole. The crash remains under investigation by the Brookfield Accident Investigation Team, with Cpl. Kevin Brooks as the lead investigator. Anyone who witnessed the crash and who has not already been interviewed by Brookfield Police are asked to call 203-775-2575 and speak with Cpl. Brooks.

BROOKFIELD — Police investigating the crash of motorcycle into a telephone pole on Route 25 near West Whisconier Road that killed the driver Sunday about 6:51 p.m.

The name of driver not being released pending family notification. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
