The reason he is a top target is because he went against the people he represents and voted for healthcare, and tarp, and stimulus, and the budget. SPEND SPEND SPEND. We’ve had enough. He is not going to get in. He has affected our country with excessive spending. He is ALL DONE. Rick Torres will run circles around him, and I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THE FINAL VOTE ON NOV 2. I donated to Torres. HIMES is toast.

Nowhere in Congressman Himes’ email did he write that “he has a target on his back”. He wrote that he is “a top target”. Where did you get the “target on his back” wording?

And why would you use such snotty language as this: Jim Himes “is scurrying for campaign cash..” You make him sound like a rat. Is that what you call reputable journalism, Mr. Dixon?

But you’ve already called him a “forty two year-old blank slate”, so this sort of insulting phraseology is what you pull out of your hat all the time.

Perhaps you should write that Mr. Himes’ life was indeed threatened last weekend by a man from Norwalk who left two messages on his office answering machine. Did you think you were being funny with this “target on his back” expression? Were you unaware that his life had been actually been threatened?

Best of luck Jim. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
