    Sounds like something a Himes opponent would do. Door knockers for campaigns are given a list of voter names, addresses, and polling places – it’s very unlikely that an official campaign staff member or trained volunteer would make such a critical mistake on election day.

    It’s quite common, though, for opponents (*cough* Republicans *cough*) to pass out flyers with incorrect voting dates or locations or even to advocate for voting for an opponent but tell people to go to the wrong place. Then, as in this case, voters waste time in the wrong line and are too frustrated or too busy to go elsewhere, thus eliminating one vote for the opposition.
