Do not concede. Nothing about this voting fiasco “smells” right. Bridgeport is noted for corrupt politics. (Remember Mayor Finch’s primary campaign?) There is absolutely no reason for the inept, sloppy, unprofessional way ths election was handled. Push for a re-count, if not of the entire state, at least of all Bridgeport ballots, making certain that the number of ballots cast matches the number of voters checked off…and that none came from the “graveyard’ vote.
It would seem that given the level of technological abilities we possess, we should be able to run an election without such problems. Photo-copying ballots, hand checking and crossing off names, and the lack of control seems very “bush-league.” Ballots need to be accounted for and the names and number of ballots must be verified, without such controls in place, there are too many chances for fraud and tampering

Time to concede Foley!
