It would not be a surprise if higher-ups in the RNC might soon be calling to say “Back off, fella.” Because he is giving the whole Republican party a black eye on national TV right now, the whole weekend of squirming and accusing.
And it’s not just the way he is using Conspiracy Theories to falsely raise doubts about the Governor vote count. His actions are suggesting that scores if not hundreds of decent, honest Registrars, precinct folks, and “little people” all banded together to un-do his election hopes. There is nothing wrong with being a middle class or working class person, or do people from Greenwich feel differently?
Tom Foley should ask The Dear Reverend Barbara Sexton, one of his coalition leaders, to draft his upcoming concession speech. I hope when he gives up and congratulates Dan Malloy, the new Governor of Connecticut, that Tom Foley will finally explain his arrests and the Bibb Layoffs more fully.
