    As to the Ramos issue, someone who was on the superintendent selection committee some years ago told me that he was NOT recommended to be hired.

    But the state pushed Ramos for the job, because he was being laid off from his other government job as Deputy Commissioner for Ed. Programs and Serv. in the CT Department of Ed.

    So now the state has to take over–and try to solve the problem that *they created*?!!

    BRG is an “arrogant” blowhard, while Rick Torres is a successful small business owner. His Harborview Market is an extremely POPULAR destination for breakfast, lunch, coffee and conversation. It has a great reputation in surrounding towns, not just Bridgeport.
