My problem with Tom Foley is he drives his own car.

Each and everyone of our liberal statewide and Federal leaders ride in the back seat as their tax payer funded drivers drive our tax payer funded cars. Yes all 15 democrats spend a ton of our money campaigning in our tax payer funded cars.

So Tom be safe and god bless you for being the only elected leader who drives their own car around the state.

Remember you have two 3 year olds and we want you in Capitol to fix this one party disaster.

  2. Moe Ronn says:

Are ALL those drivers on I84 that are going over 80 Republicans? At least it wasn’t a DUI like our Emeritus.

  3. Stanley says:

Why was he let go and not arrested for RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT like anyone else would of been for going 20 Miles over the speed limit??? This person with his record is starting to look like a MENACE to our SOCIETY…AND YOU WANT TO PUT SOMEONE LIKE HIM IN OFFICE?????SHAME ON THE COP THAT LET HIM GO….

Out of 10 postings here, only TWO want to actually make something of this.

That’s only 20% supporting Malloy … wouldn’t that be nice come election day … !!!

I would think the anti-Foley commenters could find something to do with their time …

Little Dan (oops “Dannel”) isn’t doing so well in the Polls — from the Huffington Post, no less! — (“The survey finds that only 35 percent of voters approve of how he has managed the budget, 32 percent approve of how he has handled taxes and 38 percent approve of how he has handled the economy and jobs. “)

BUT this blog posting spends time on crap like this? … Must be getting desparate in supporting Little Dan.

eD- At least he doesn’t tie up traffic and stick Westport with the traffic bill like Obama did for his fundraiser with the 1% Weinstein.

  6. Hank says:

Nice hit piece by the Conn Post. Let’s make sure we keep a democrat as governor with a cheesy “news” article. The state is in shambles with out-of-control spending and outrageous taxes, yet Tom Foley is the problem. SMH.

  7. Timster says:

I just decided….I’m voting for Tom Foley……he is not without Sin!

  8. Timster says:

    Puleeeeeeeze…….it’s not personal…..it’s politics
    What make and model car?
Has Dan Malloy ever violated the speed limit?
    This is News!

  9. Phineas Taylor says:

Good for him – he’s got my vote.

  10. laughingatBpt says:

I will never get that 30 seconds back. Can you be any more obvious in stretching “news” to bash a republican candidate? Has the author of this waste of time ever driven 80 miles per hour? Do we report every CT citizen that gets such a ticket? Where is the news in this?

  11. Crystal says:

Let’s see, Malloy’s kid gets busted selling pot. Same kid gets busted sticking up a dealer with a loaded gun, his wife gets busted for assault and breach of the peace, his brother gets caught procuring no-bid contracts in exchange for work on the governor’s house, his other brother get’s indicted by the feds for an embezzlement scheme from a bank where he served on the board, but avoided jail by turning on his cohort in court. Foley gets a speeding ticket.

  12. Richard Hurtz says:

BFD(big f*cking deal.) 80 MPH is typical on almost any highway or major roadway in the USA. It’s too bad he got pulled over as it probably delayed where he had to go even more.

  13. Ed Davies says:

“A sense of urgency” enroute to a Greenwich fundraiser?

  14. BrickTop says:

A man in a hurry to fix CT’s problems. I like him even more.

  15. jschm says:

he has a sense of urgency unlike our current governor.

  16. TV Grinch says:

That is traveling with the flow of traffic on I-95 or the Merritt Parkway.

  17. Patti Cake says:

This is newsworthy? You know what IS newsworthy? Benghazi. THAT’S newsworthy.

  18. Tom says:

Route 9 always has speed traps on it and I’ve seen many people of all creeds pulled over and shaking their heads so this really is a non-issue. It really is bad on the weekends when people are headed to the beach. Perhaps the author should do a better job of knowing that Route 9 actually starts in Farmington not New Britain so a bit of credibility gets thrown out the window there.

  19. Shirley says:

Leave it to the News Times to report something less than complimentary about a Republican nominee for governor, but never, ever report the truth about Malloy’s many mistakes. Truth has never been an issue for the NT.
