The act was perpetrated by an individual with mental health issues. The killings at Arapaho HS in Colorado (shotgun), Murrysville, PA (2 kitchen knives), and very recently right here in Milford (kitchen knife)show that this law will have little to no effect in increasing public safety. It is an incremental step, however, in disarming the citizenry, which is the goal of totalitarians. Meanwhile, the Committee set up to make recommendations on the mental health part of the law received a data dump which was unsearchable and un-indexed and told “it stands as is”.
And the media continues to carry the water for their favorite politicians.
This alone is enough reason to vote Democratic.
