Abraham Lincolon coined the phrase “Government of the people, by the people, for the people”.
But for McKinney it’s “Government of the Legislature, by the Legislature, for the people.”
He only go 17% of the Delegate vote at the Republican convention, and I doubt he will get that in a run against
Tom Foley. He is a career politican with no constitutional principles, or desire to take on the states collective bargaining, and spending issues.

We’re sure Mr. Mckinney would “welcome a two-person race for the Republican nomination for Governor”. The problem is only he and the 30 other Connecticut Republicans who showed up at the Hartford Public Library forum Wednesday night share any enthusiasm for his candidacy.

There is a clear difference. A principled conservative running as an unaffiliated. In 2014 none of the above has a name and a face.

    Joe Visconti for Governor.

“Mr. Foley and I could not be more clearly different in our approach to it”. That’s right, John McKinney, that’s because there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between you and Dannel Malloy! McKinney is RINO-MITE! If you want a liberal, why would you vote for the fake Republican when you already have the genuine article Democrat?
