Foley will give families from low performing schools parents a chance to do better. BUT he should remember that same chance should be offered to high performing schools who do not want to use the sucky Common Core standards, nor subject our children to non-stop standardized testing that collects data and shares it with others, and testing that only lines the pockets of the test makers.
If low performing schools have a choice, high performing schools must have a choice to. Get Malloy out. Make Foley understand choice should be for all families, not only low-performers.
