Really? The National Review thinks that? What a shock! Why even report this? It’s the equivalent of Mother Jones calling Malloy the best governor. Neither source is even CLOSE to neutral. What a waste–nice clickbait, Advocate.
Vote with your feet. Connecticut and the rest of the northeast is no place for the working middle class or retirees.
All the candidates Democrats and
Republicans spout the same lines: “we need jobs we have to cut taxes”
but the result is still the same. Taxes go up, business flees the state and the same politicians get re elected. Enjoy.
I have to laugh at the ads on tv excoriating Malloy for tax increases. These are the same people who don’t want services cut and want more and more for little Johnny and Janey’s education, improved roads and rail service and all the rest of what the taxpayers support but cry when taxes are raised to supports the unending wish lists. Foley will be the worst thing to happen to CT since Lowell Weicker and his income tax or John Rowland and his being on the take.
Life long CT resident, not a Republican and this article is right. Malloy has been a joke…..but so much of this country views politics as a sports event. They’ll vote for a turd sandwich because its their team. There are a lot of people making political choices based only on very bias, sometimes out right propaganda from multiple major media outlets on BOTH sides of the isle.
Not sure why we would look at Kansas for anything, but thanks for the insight Pete. Surprised the Newstimes would print this after yesterday “More bad news for Foley” article in which Foley’s tie with Malloy was considered a bad thing, usually that’s a bad sign for the incumbent.
Pennsylvania’s Republican is the most unpopular Governor and he is losing by double digits in polling. However, Malloy IS the most unpopular and vulnerable Democrat up for re-election.
Clearly nothing more then a partisan hack job. Take a look at what’s happened in Kansas the past 4 years. Smaller budget, bigger deficit, but tax cuts for the rich.
The editors must be sleeping today. While it is refreshing to see stories covering varying perspectives, I’m shocked they’ve published an article critical of CT’s Democratic Elite.

Let’s hope he can’t get a judge to give him 2 more hours of voting this time around. Or maybe it will be something more creative.

Compared to:
Rowland, who’s going to prison a 2nd time?
or M JodI Rell who basically slept in office?
or Weicker, who gave us an income tax???
So now the Right-wingnuts are putting Foley Up against Malloy!!!
Oy!!!
I wonder how the author’s of this article would compare Malloy’s performance to Chris Christie’s.
Truth: Malloy stinks
LOVE IT
Considering the source I would say that makes him the BEST GOV in the US

I’m sure that equally unbiased morons like Rush Limpbaughg agree………………….
How much money was this magazine to published this non-sense article.
Finally, a real article.
The editors must be sleeping today. While it is refreshing to see stories covering varying perspectives, I’m shocked they’ve published an article critical of CT’s Democratic Elite.
And the “Worst” Republican town in America for GOP tax and spend is Wilton, Connecticut!
