I worked at UBS, they definitely hired foreigners on H1B VISAS due to cost not because they were the best qualified. I worked there and was fully aware of these practices. One example is Wipro, as a manger one American employee was the compensation equivalent of 5 Wipro workers. Not only that, but UBS was definitely biased towards ex-pat Europeans. I’m glad they are leaving, their culture sucked, they suck, peace

You have no idea what you are talking about. Banks and companies hire foreigners on an H1B visa because they are the best qualified (especially STEM backgrounds) not because they are cheap. And frankly many qualified and highly talented people are turned away simply because there are not enough visas to go around. That is a huge shame because they would be highly productive members of society. Plus your property tax didn’t pay for their education which is a huge win for society and a net positive to everyone. But keep spouting rhetoric while the jobs move overseas instead where the qualified labor is able to work freely. Luckily that will also give you something new to wrongly complain about.

UBS made $3.4B last year & are on track to do same for 2014 ..they have plenty of money!

has UBS given back the loot the Nazis stole and deposited in their bank before murdering 6 million people?

Would also like to know what percentage of these remaining workers are foreigners on H1b visas… I’m guessing it’s a large number. H1b visa is a HUGE scam that companies use to get cheap labor. There is no shortage of skilled labor in the US, otherwise wages would be going up (supply and demand).
