I can’t believe this happened again. I don’t know one person who openly admits voting for Malloy. I am outraged once again the polling hours were ONCE AGAIN extended – this time because they had no ballots. Yeah..right. THis is all planned well in advance. More likely scenario is they needed extra ballots to stuff in the box with Malloy’s boxes checked. Tom Foley should ask for a full investigation based on this happening again. CT really deserves better.
Regardless of one’s political affiliation, Connecticut residents should be outraged over this year’s Governor’s race. The fact that any one political party can request, and receive, special allowance to extend the voting time by a half hour so constituents favorable to their campaign can vote goes against what a democracy stands for. If hours are going to be extended because of “difficulties getting to the polls” then the hours should be extended across the state, to equally accommodate both parties. This is dirty politics at its worst and the residents of Connecticut should speak up ensure both parties are equally represented.
