Malloy is all taxes all the time. He hasn’t kept a promise yet. Tolls will kill the economy that already lagged the recovery. As long as Democrats run the state, nothing good will be done for the state.
I am very net rested in how tolls would SPEED up traffic. Did you ever cross a bridge? ITS backed up. Another issue is bussinesses that employees would now have to pay a toll. NOT GOOD. The housing market would take a hit scaring away commuters to westchester. The mall would take a hit losing revenue, jobs and tax money. Bring back tolls, CT’s highways are all clogged up with out of state drivers….make them pay for using these roads.
Does this mean that car taxes will be dissolved? How is that even fair to have both?
NY State Sales Tax is 4%.
Anything over a purchase of $75 ($75 x 4% = $3) and the shoppers are still ahead when even paying the $3 toll !!
The toll won’t stop people from coming to the mall.
Legalize the recreational use of mj and tax that. Doing so, will generate all types of revenue that will help the state.

CT simply sucks ! Thankfully I no longer live in that cespool of a state. 38 years was more than enough, now living in Florida and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
