  1. Will Wilkin says:

We’ve seen the results of this model through the 21 years of WTO, NAFTA and 12 other Free Trade treaties: loss of 4.5 million US manufacturing jobs, $11 trillion in US merchandise trade deficits (averaging over $720 billion per year for the last 11 years), the loss of over 63,000 US factories just since 2001, the fiscal crises at all levels of government from this off-shoring of our tax base and wages and wealth-creation. Even our military supply chains have become dangerously dependent on imports leaving them vulnerable to disruptions and sabotage, not to mention loss of technological leadership through offshoring these sources of future innovation.

Jim Himes understands all this, but he is a typical Washington politician who cannot resist the corrupting thrill of jet-setting around the globe with the President, and proving himself a reliable tool of the global elite that not only have no loyalty to our national interest but who actively undermine it.

  2. They may scoff and laugh at such ridiculousness….but it’s all quid quo pro in Congress….Time to send him packing next election cycle.
