RED, WHITE, AND WINE!

For over 150 years, six generations of the Jones family have farmed their land in the White Hills of Shelton, Connecticut. The Jones Winery continues the family tradition of growing high-quality crops that celebrate the great bounty of local farmlands. The farm’s vineyard and famous berry harvests allow the winery to create a wonderful selection of traditional grape wines and specialty fruit wines.

This weekend they are Open Friday, July 3, and Sunday, July 5 from 11 am to 6 pm for wine stand and curbside pickup. Open Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm for outdoor table seating. Limited indoor and outdoor seating is available by online reservation. 10% off a case of wine and 5% off for 6 bottles! This 4th of July weekend, they are offering a Red, White, and Blue Ripton red, Woodlands, and Blueberry Bliss for $49.50.

In Sherman, White Silo Vineyard is open Friday from 11 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Outdoor tented seating available. The kitchen is serving box lunches, cheese platters, hummus platters, and homemade pretzels. Friday night Tapas and Wine begin July 3rd from 6 pm to 8 pm with music. Live music will be on Saturday, July 4th from 2 pm to 5 pm and Sunday, July 5th from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Overlooking beautiful Lake Waramaug, Hopkins Vineyard is open Friday from 11 am to 5 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Wine and cheese platters available for sale for the tented picnic area. Offering curbside pickup.  Indoor and outdoor tented picnic area are available for seating. There will be live music on Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm and Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm by Bahama Mama and The Pain Killers.
