On Saturday, October 17 from 11 am – 12:30 pm the Wilton Historical Society located on 224 Danbury Road is hosting a creative pumpkin decorating event perfect for your spooktacular kids!
If you still need a pumpkin then don’t miss this event! You can buy a pumpkin from the Wilton Kiwanis Club (as well as gourds, mums, and decorative corn) and decorate it. Immediate gratification! Katherine Karlik, the Museum Educator, will be offering two sessions of demonstrating how to make two very different looking pumpkins. One is a “Mummy” pumpkin, the other uses a decoupage-type technique and colorful leaves.
There will be two sessions, each a half-hour long, with 10 people allowed in each session. The first is from 11:00 – 11:30; the second 12:00 – 12:30 to allow for sanitizing between each. Bring your own pumpkin, decorating materials provided. The cost is $10 per pumpkin decorated. To register email: firstname.lastname@example.org
