What better way to kick off 2021 than researching your family roots. The Fairfield Museum is making this project easy with a series of three programs on January 14, 21, and 28 from 2 pm to 3 pm. The cost of participation is $25 per person.
If you are interested in learning about your family history join Fairfield Museum Library Director Karen Burke and Collections Manager Diane Lee for this 3-part series on how to get started, where to find important resources, and how to organize your research.
Karen and Diane will share tips and tricks to help you uncover your family‘s unique story and they will be on hand to answer any of your questions. This program will be especially useful if you have family connections to the Fairfield, Connecticut, region, as they will be sharing both free and online resources, in addition to unique documents that are only available from the Fairfield Museum’s archives and special collections.
The specific topics include How to Start on January 14, followed by how to compile and track resources on January 21 and, lastly, where to find unique online resources on January 28. All programs begin at 2 pm. Once you purchase a ticket here you will be emailed Zoom information.
