As our more sharp-eyed readers may have noticed, my blog has been pretty inactive for the past several months. You may (or may not) be wondering why, but regardless, I feel I owe an explanation.
On May 4, I delivered my twin daughters by emergency C-section at Bridgeport Hospital. They were two months premature, and needed to stay in the hospital for several weeks. My girls finally came home on June 10, and I have spent the subsequent time adjusting to the very difficult (but rewarding) new reality their arrival presented. Now I am back at work, so you’ll definitely be seeing more activity in this space. And yes, I do plan to write a more detailed account of my children’s birth, and the ups and downs of parenting premature twins.
But, in the meantime, I wanted to let you know where I was and that I’m back.
