    Ken Dixon,

Why doesn’t Hearst Media Services or Angela Carella run a story about the real Corruption in Corrupticut !! This list in this economy is OUTRAGEOUS !! I mean is this Governor serious ???

Why not worry about this than repealing the death penalty ?

Why not discuss cuts in workers pay or elimination of some of these positions to save the taxpayers money ? ?

This is why America has no faith in elected officials….so much waste in Government !!

What is Mr. Malloy doing about CUTTING WASTE IN GOVERNMENT right in his own backyard ? Ask him Ken or does he have you in his back pocket like everyone else ??

  2. Robert says:

Everybody else makes alot of money when they work for government!!What would they make in private sector if there are any of these brainless jobs out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What exactly do all these people do????Does anybody know??Or is it just who knows who??

  3. Observer says:

Now I understand why there are no parking spaces during the legislative sessions. Perhaps they all should “reduced their pay by utilizing the voluntary leave and schedule reduction program.”

  4. Disgusted says:

I guess we now see why this state is broke.

  5. Ken Dixon says:

    $160,000

  6. matt says:

So what is Andrew McDonald making as Malloys legal counsel???

  7. Vincent Manjoney says:

    What is a caucus employee ? 200 or more !!!!! Payoffs ?

  8. Ken Dixon says:

There are news-media contacts who are assigned several senators or House members; committee employees; policy analysts; reception and administrative people.

  9. Heywood Jablowme says:

    So what ?

  10. MrLogical says:

There are a ton of these so-called “caucus employees” making anywhere from $40-80k. What exactly do these people do that is ‘productive’ and beneficial vis-a-vis the average CT citizen?

  11. Ken Dixon says:

Salary details of public employees is public information.

  12. Ken Dixon says:

Thanks Confused: CTsunlight, a fine site, doesn’t have the up-to-date salary information of the Blog-o-rama.

  13. confused says:

Even better, I can’t believe you get paid to do this. You can just go to ctsunlight.org and get all of this. Why not just cut your salary if your going to substitute a real article with something that you can get someplace else year round?

  14. confused says:

Call me confused. Exactly what is the point of this “article”? Are you supposed to be pointing something out, or are you just trying to shame people somehow?

  15. Ken Dixon says:

Caucus employees are staffers ranging from higher-paid attorneys and policy analysts, to media aides and other office employees of the four caucuses: House and Senate Republicans and House and Senate Democrats.

  16. David Alexander says:

What does a caucus employee do?

It appears there is much fat in government.

  17. Big daddy says:

Wow…I see numerous “legislative analysts” from cheifs to principals to associates…shouldn’t there be just one chief and the rest “associates”?

These are 100K plus a year positions…Malloy can start cutting here

  18. I see too much paycheck discrepency for what amouts to a bunch of low-productivity socialists.
